Mission Statement

Providing local underprivileged students a much-needed message of hope, that God has a plan for their lives and Jesus loves them; along with services and supplies needed to prepare for a successful school year.

Registration is Now Open for This Year's 'A Day of Hope' - WFXBRegistration is open for the 2026 A Day of Hope event! Sheila Karsevar was in the studio with details on the annual event that provides local children with backpacks of school supplies, dental and vision screenings, haircuts, new shoes and socks, lunch adn the message that Jesus loves them! Our annual event provides students with:

Backpacks filled with school supplies
New shoes and socks through Samaritans Feet
Student hygiene items
Dental screenings
Vision screening
Lunch from The Salvation Army
Information and opportunities for families to receive assistance

A Day of Hope has been providing for over 200 children yearly since 2015.
