Our Story

 From Our Founder, Sheila Karsevar,

• It all started with a prayer, “Lord, every day cannot just be about me and Norm and what we want for our day…what is it that  I am here for?”

• That was early in 2014 and then in November of 2014 God put on on my heart through many different avenues - A Day Of Hope - a day filled with hope for Children in need of assistance.  “They need to know that they were created on purpose for a purpose and they need to know that Jesus loves them.” 

• This day belongs to God.  It is His plan, His guidance, His provisions and His presence. 

• The volunteer list has grown to over 530 people, we have over 40 services or businesses that are involved in donating and spreading the word.  A Day Of Hope has served over 250 children each year since 2015 and none of this would happen without the help and support of our community!

• A Day Of Hope is truly our community coming together in unity to share the love of Jesus with Children who are in need of assistance.  We will continue until God tells us otherwise!
